'ON' is not an ideal description of Traction Control. 'ARMED' is a better word. Most of the time it just sits there doing nothing, monitoring the wheel speed sensors. IF it is NEEDED, it kicks in, just like ABS. You leave the ABS 'ON' all the time, right?
