Good method, but I like this too:

Napa Auto sells some stuff called aviation form-a-gasket. The stuff drips on the outside of it's own bottle and hardens and it is incredibly sticky. Rub some of that on the bolt head and stick it to the socket and it sticks ... Login to read more.
