From the image you drew, it doesn't look like it is going to allow the coil to saturate. Still looks like a bad ignitor. Coils go bad and wipe the ignitors. I have seen these ignitors with a square wave, and duty cycle and yet the signal won't fire the coil. ... Login to read more.
