Re: Dealing with rusty or just plain tough cotter pins.
I just drill them out as long as I have access. The trick is drill it before you take the joint apart, that way the ball joint stud is held in place. Cotter pins are very soft compared to the ball joint. I start with my drill at an angle up, and begin cutting ... Login to read more. ![]()
