Hi Roy, I took your idea and made one out of aluminum scrap I had kicking around. Because my tubing does'nt seem to flare right when pushed in flush I made mine adjustable. I drilled and tapped the plate then used an allen screw and lock nut to adjust the dept... Login to read more.
