Well, Jaime, This is what I know about that....I ran into this exact problem on a 1990 Buick Park Ave, 3.8L. It would start ok until the ambient temp dropped. Then, it may start but more often then not, it would backfire and foul the plugs etc. Hard to believe... Login to read more.
