Dan, 4 valves per cylinder on that engine. Losing one rocker just results in a 3 valve set-up, with no loss of compression, and the engine still breaths thru the remaining exhaust valve. How a performance problem wasn't noticed is beyond me though. Especially ... Login to read more.
