I think Kansas is right. I was working at a Saturn store in 99 and noticed the switch to NGKs as OE in the 1.9L. Can't tell you why the switch. Maybe NGK was the low bidder. Never saw anything but AC in the L series cars even up to 2004 models with the 2.2L. T... Login to read more.
