Help with GM Code 13,44 and open loop

Hi all;

Have a student that has 1988 S15 GMC 2.5L, TBI,that started turning on MIL intermittenly. His dad replaced O2 and still had problem. Brought pickup in shop and pulled codes. 13 (O2) and 44 (lean).
