Not exactly the same,but I unsiezed a hood realease cable by jumping (very briefly)a battery to [...] cable on one end,touched neg cable( w/30 a ct breaker on it) to other side very [...] heated up the guides & cable freeing them up w/no damage to sleeve. Login to read more.
