I think ya mixed up 'yota with nissan. Nissan uses the VG30-E or I in the trucks, maxies, '84--88 300-Z's and the Quest. Yota uses a 3.0 SOHC in the trucks and 4-runners. in the late '80's they blew head gaskets every 80K with regularity. Post John at our shop... Login to read more.
