I own a 2000 silverado 4x4 with a 5.3...it has been ticking on cold start since new...goes away within 15 seconds after start up. Dealer i bought from says its the "skirtless" piston slap...im just wondering if this will cause damage later on. I only have 6 mo... Login to read more.
