You are right Bill. Ford has had many concerns over the IAC and ducting to it. The 4.6 modification from a few years ago plus recalls on Contour V6 and Windstar's. Also the 7.5 Litre truck engine had a problem with the valve making a "hooting" noise a few year... Login to read more.
