If I remember this right, around 1984 or 1985 Buick was working on a 3.8 V6 that had no starter or camshaft. The engine used electronic lifters to open the valves on all cylinders except the cylinder that was beginning of an upward stroke of a rod. The compute... Login to read more. ![]()
