Yep; the Ford/Chryco used thermally-driven gauges (more current through the heater=higher reading) while GM used magnetic-balance mechanisms, requiring the opposite input from the sender... That's the reason Ford/Chryco went to "E" when you unplugged the sende... Login to read more. ![]()
