G'day Hollis, providing the rotor bearings are in good order howling is caused by a leaking diode, I think the noise is produced by an electrical unbalance. Oddly enough, if both diodes on the same phase are bad or multiple phase diodes are bad you probably wo... Login to read more. ![]()
