G'day Dave, they are to stop caliper bump rattle on single acting calipers. Why only on one slide pin and not the other? if you put your finger on any part of a ringing bell it will stop ringing. Also, probably a bit like why a 16 amp Lucas C40 generator need... Login to read more.
