I think you are dealing with a race setup on the street. That 450 hp is probably around 5000, 5500 rpm and the vehicle is being driven around in the 800 to 2500 rpm range. With only 4 in of vacuum, I suspect that it doesn't idle very well and loads up easily. ... Login to read more.
