Far more in a diesel, I would say. Go find an two old VW Rabbits, one with a gas 1.6, the other with a diesel 1.6. You don't even need to drive them. Just rev each one to 4500 rpm, and back off the throttle. Time how long each takes to drop to 900 rpm. Login to read more.
