Ford had two distributors with two vacuum inputs. The very early OHV V8's (54 - 56) didn't have centrifugal advance. They had a dual diaphragm advance unit. One nipple used manifold vacuum for advance at light load. The other used venturi vacuum to act like a ... Login to read more. ![]()
