Hi Louis.

It is one degree of dwell change will affect ignition timing one degree.

If you think about it, it you increase the dwell 1 degree, example from 30 to 31 (keep the points closed 1 degree more of distributor rotation) it closes the points 1/2 degr... Login to read more.
