Just to throw the idea out there, All metals have a fatigue cycle, Aluminum has a shorter fatigue cycle than ferrous metals. For example the aluminum rods in my race engine have a life of 300 runs and then have to be replaced, because of their fatigue cycle. ... Login to read more.
