The TSB applies to AFM. Does it have AFM? It will reduce oil consumption, but the real problem is piston rings sticking in the ring land. GM states if usage is still over a quart in 2000 miles the engine gets new pistons. The new pistons will have increased ri... Login to read more. ![]()
