Most all small blocks like 34-36 degrees, but that's going to be with vacuum disconnected. The initial timing (using vacuum advance) will be around 8-10 at idle and only the performance distributors will have enough centrifugal to total 34-36 at 2800 or so, mo... Login to read more.
