I've seen this on a 6 cylinder Toyota before. As soon as the IGF from one of the coils dropped out the engine stalled. New coil fixed it. Usually a failed coil on a Toyota will result in a single cylinder misfire but the engine keeps running, not sure what was... Login to read more.
