This is correct. Except for the reduced intensity by using PWM. I know of no vehicles, (maybe some high-end vehicle I am not aware of) that use PWM to reduce the intensity. Most vehicles simply run the high-beams, if they use the headlights for DRL, in series ... Login to read more.
