The 3.0 SOHC isn't a bender, no matter what. I've proven this to myself as we have repaired, rebuilt or otherwise fixed dozens of these. Even at max valve lift, the piston goes right by. That and timing belt failures seem to be exceedingly rare on these. They'... Login to read more.
