Pressure force can be big force. Lets say surface of filter wall housing (the part that moved) is 6"x12". At -10 psi (vacuum), will get suck in with force of 720 lbs. All "vacuum" surfaces will be effected according to surface area. Good thing parts are strong... Login to read more.
