BTW, air is never 'pushed' into a gasoline engine. It is pulled into the cylinders in SPITE of vacuum or MAP. First the starter motor, drawing 3,000 watts of power (280 CCA @ 11V) has to overcome friction and vacuum to get the initial 'lung' firing. From then ... Login to read more. ![]()
