Re: 'Pre-wet' a Fuel Filter?
Only reason I have heard for pre- wetting fuel filters, besides that article, was that if the filter media was wetted with water-contaminated fuel- then the filter would pass the water. If pre-wet with pure gasoline, the filter will stop the water! Login to read more. ![]()
