I tuned in hoping to learn something. I just happened to have that info @ fingertips.

I used 6.51 ohm divided by 1000 times 2 = .01303 ohms 12 volts divided by .01303 ohms is 921.66 amps.

So, I'm pretty sure the 2" 18ga. wire would burn trying to carry 921... Login to read more.
