Why Do 2 & 4 Channel Scopes Only Have One Ground Source?

I am curious why multi-channel scopes only have one ground input. I would like to test a No-Crank and the wiring of a starter system with one pass. I could do it with two single channel multimeters, but cant do it even with a four channel modis.
