Re: solder re flow
Either physical stress on the joint OR thermal stress- ie, lots of current and/or the "wrong" material for the connector pin- can cause the joint to crack. Reflowing it might not "permanently" fix a poorly designed component, but if it buys another 5 years (or... Login to read more. ![]()
