Had a '05 GMC 6500 that would loose battery after sitting a week. The voltage regulator was slow to start charging after start up. It would be up to 2 minutes before the volt meter would move from 12v to near 14v. Tested alternator, no load 13.67v and 28.7 amp... Login to read more.
