Myself I would install the gooseneck / fifth wheel interchangeable plate with the bolt on kit. For anything to do with pulling trailers as for hire as Hotshot transportation, DOT will not pass a weld on gooseneck. Now maybe if its for pulling a personal RV or ... Login to read more.
