Does anyone have an explanation as to why some coil on plug ignition coils have a diode and others do not? Even within an OEM line up such as Chrysler, JTEC PCM equipped vehicles did not have a diode while SBEC and NGC PCM equipped vehicles have a diode. Login to read more.
