Ohm's law does work when you do the math. but you can't use an ohmmeter on a working circuit. The ohmmeter pushes about half a volt through the circuit, and with 10 mega ohms of resistance, that's about a thousandth of an amp. Not much heat. Most of the branch... Login to read more.
