As mentioned before, you're not going to get erroneous circuit faults (ie. CKP open/shorted when it's really CMP open/shorted) but you can get wrong rationality codes (range/performance/implausible signal). It's pretty foolproof, generally, for the ECM to chec... Login to read more.
