The answer is yes. As an example, on some Chrysler, would be an erratic CKP reporting 10k RPM to the ECM and the ECM would miss CMP signal for more than two crank revolutions it is thinking that the engine is actually making. The other way around, the ECM woul... Login to read more. ![]()
