First consider that an engine's crankshaft doesn't really rotate as we imagine. Our finite abilities of perception make us think that, but it actually pulses very short strokes of 1/2 to 1/6 rotation(on most). The pcm is looking at the engine pulses as a rhyth... Login to read more.
