Lots of good points here! Back in the day GM used manifold vacuum on the advance for 2 reasons that I remember. 1 Vacuum drops off when engine shut down to keep crappy fuel from causing dieseling. 2 Vacuum drops off under hard acceleration to lower total timin... Login to read more. ![]()
