You might find this hard to believe but this system gets a 5v dc voltage from the PCM. The funny thing is that a knock sensor is a Piezioelectric device, (like a tweeter) and it generates an AC voltage that rides on top of a Dc voltage. Pretty cool huh... Login to read more.
