think of a starter motor as a power load... well because it is... let's assume a starter with a 2400 watt rating just to make it easy.. @12v, it will consume 200A. @11v it now consumes ~218A, and @ 8v it will consume 300A.. but remember that the rating of 2400... Login to read more.
