To get a rule of thumb compression ratio divide the atmospheric pressure into the compression pressure on your gauge. If the pressure is 147 psi and the atmospheric pressure is 14.7 you have a 10 to 1 compression ratio...in theory. If the cylinder volume is 50... Login to read more. ![]()
