Funny thing is, the first vehicles equipped with an "oxygen" sensor, did call them a Lambda sensor (Lambda sond). This was back in 1977, on the Volvo 240 series. I wonder why the name Lambda did not stick? Maybe there would be less trouble with the understandi... Login to read more.
