The only way you could get vacuum to collapse a tank would be for the vent to atmosphere to be blocked and the purge valve on or leaking vacuum along with a defective cap. The cap shouldn't allow enough vacuum to collapse a tank IMO. It'll flag a large leak if... Login to read more.
