Why must timing be advanced during low load
I have a question which seems to conflict with what I always thought about timing/engine load. Originally, I thought ignition timing is advanced during low-load, lean mixture (high vacuum) periods which would be required since the mixture tends to burn slower ... Login to read more. ![]()
