I just looked in Alldata and it shows a CAN bus in a 2005 BMW 525. It also shows that it has an LIN bus which is based off of ISO 9141. I suspect that if you connect with the Launch without the Canbus connector you will not see the Can bus. You would probably ... Login to read more.
