2000 Astro with 4.3L engine. Started and the Alt. light is on, wasn't when I shut it off. Service call in Buffalo, NY--home is Youngstown, OH. Do I buy an expensive alt. in Buffalo and replace, or nurse it home and use discount in OH and change it there?
