Hi Chris. In my '01 Yamaha V Max, I use Motul 10W40 semi-synthetic blend G-5 lubricant (Made in France) in the engine.

The engine has a wet clutch and 1200cc V4 engine rated somewhere up to 145 hp at the countershaft (approx 110-118hp max at rear wheel).
